There are times when you really couldn’t say no. You thought you’re over this phase but there are just some things that don’t and can’t change. Like when someone you-can’t-say-no-to asks you to buy the same thing you already have.
Someone you-can’t-say-no-to: Help me with my sister’s tuition, please. I need tuition money. Here’s a bottle of lotion. Buy it. Please.
You: Okay. Let me see. And then you go and choose from the variety (I own a ton of moisturizers. Really. Most even from Christmas of 2009! All of them untouched).
It’s not really the exact same thing, you know. This is a different brand. Different scent. THIS has triple moisturizing effect. It won’t hurt to buy one more. And yes! You helped the sister with school payments. Yey!
It still is JUST lotion. Besides, how much of dry skin do you actually have? Sure, PhP500 (around $12.00) will go a long way, maybe even college. Poof!
